My path
How the Goddesses saved my life
At the very lowest time in my life, when I needed direction most, I was wrongfully turned away from a church — all because of my 5.5-pound service dog, whom the pastor would not abide. I went home feeling dead inside: lost, with nothing and no one. Christianity had given me nothing my whole life, so I started looking into Wicca.
My dreams have always been different — I dream of things before they happen. Long ago, my older cousin, whom I call aunt, told me of our bloodline. I hold a deep, strong connection with animals and passed loved ones, and I worked with animals for eleven years. Then I heard Hecate call — and after her, Lilith.
I honour all goddesses in my practice, but Hecate and Lilith are always included. Hecate, blessed be, saved my life. She is light and dark, shadow queen of the crossroads, and the moon holds her power. Cards are a language; kindness is the grammar — so every reading aims to leave you steadier than it found you.
I am an initiated Wiccan, and I keep the Rede — “harm none” — in every sitting and every spell. I cleanse the table between sitters, I close every mediumship sitting properly, and I never keep your story beyond what you ask me to hold.
